Alumni

The Australian Government is committed to creating and supporting a global network of people who have studied in Australia and wish to retain and build on their connections to their institutions, colleagues and friends in Australia.

The Australian Government has developed an Australia Global Alumni Engagement Strategy to reach out to the global alumni community, inviting alumni to connect and engage with Australia and the region. The Strategy advocates three strategic actions:

Connect

We will connect alumni to each other and to Australia. We will connect people working with our alumni to share information, knowledge and resources.

Mobilise

We will mobilise engagement with alumni through events, professional development, business and research opportunities

Celebrate

We will celebrate the achievements and ongoing two-way linkages between alumni and Australia.

Australia’s global alumni community in Fiji include all Fijians who have graduated from recognised Australian educational institutions or Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).

Fiji’s Alumni Network also include those alumni who have received an Australian Government Scholarship to study in the Pacific region.

Australia Awards Fiji alumni are encouraged to stay connected with their friends, build and mobilise their professional networks and celebrate their successes!
